What to know before coming on the trip:

-Buy a converter for charging your electronics (if possible buy 2)

-Buy french data - it can help you get around(I used the Airalo App

-Talk to your bank if you plan on using your credit/debit cards

-The weather can be windy, rainy and chilly. Bring a good raincoat or windbreaker

-Get the app based on who you're flying with: easy check-in, Arrive CAN…

-That brings me to my next point don't bring heat technologies that aren't made for travelling(built in voltage converter) since they can explode

-Have all the information needed before you come to France and ask a LOT of questions.

Lens Information

-Get the transit card (Tadao) its euro for students a month and you can go all around Lens

-Almost EVERYTHING is closed sunday except Mcdonalds and grocery stores from 8-12

-Keep an open mind to new friendships and adventures

Paris Information

Keep a fanny pack under your jacket with your passport and important stuff

-Metro is very expensive: 1 way pass is 2,15euro

-Be aware of your surroundings and don't let your guard down

-Plan your stay based on the weather
Ex: Ff it rains visit the Louvre and Galerie Lafayette, etc. - If it's sunny visit the Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe…

-Go see the eiffel tower sparkle. It'll only sparkle at every hour for 5 min

-Avoid booking your hotel or even spending time in 10ieme, 17ieme,18ieme,19ieme. Avoid it at all cost in the evening especially if your a woman.

-Speak french as much as you can to avoid getting targeted as a tourist

-To avoid running around the city plan your bucket list visits based on the proximity with each other.
